Burgers without buns. Is your job application like a burger without a bun?

Is a burger still a burger without a bun?

Getting ahead in the job market starts with the job application. It needs to be complete and a tailor-made CVs and  cover letters will result in more success. Think of a burger - is it a burger if there is no bun. There has to be a covering - even if it is not a bun!

A job application is not done properly if you don’t include a proper cover letter. It is like presenting a burger without a bun - it is not a burger.

In the same way a job application without a well-crafted cover letter is not complete  and is not a properly presented job application.

IN THE EMPLOYERS’ FACE
Some information in the resume should be repeated in the cover letter such as your contact information. In addition, your cover letter should highlight why you think you are suitable for this job.

Do you have any friends?
I hope you have some friends because for all important business letters such as job application letters it is good if you get a friend to read your application at least twice.

The distinctive Burger King whopper - it would not be a whooper without the distinctive sesame bun

The cover letter can take many forms just as there may be different outer coverings in the fast food world

A McDonald's McArabia meal, served with French fries: The McArabia is a popular pita bread sandwich sold in the Middle East and centralAsia.  There is still a cover – namely pitta bread. Thus cover letters can vary but nevertheless there must be some form of cover letter. Tailor your cover letter to your market. Thus to answer the question - no the burger is no longer a burger without the bun. A job application is not a proper job application without a suitable cover letter.
